Education

Alumnus of St. Columba’s School, New Delhi, DAV School, Hans Raj College (Delhi University) and CCS University.  A student of science with a diversified interest in Economics & Sociology; finally graduated out with a Master’s Degree in Sociology with Post Grad Diplomas in Computer Science (Certificates from Lotus Development Corp., UK & Microsoft Corporation, USA) and Business Management (Personnel and HR). Looking forward to MPhil and PhD, god-willing!

A Professional
Started employment at Datapro Information Technology, a computer training company, picking up skills of teaching and management. A few years later, became an entrepreneur, starting M/s Anupam Associates and Cosmic Communications, specializing in Management Information Systems, Databases, Computer Publishing, Communications and Reprographics.  So it’s been more than 2 decades of professional friendship with computers and technology!

Personality Traits
A born free thinker, intellectual, honest, compassionate, ethical & a courageous Indian are the syllables that best describe me.

A Collector
Limca Book of Records
– As a Machirologist, I established the National Record in 2011 for my collection of knives and sharp / pointed objects. Collection includes different kinds of knives, bayonets, daggers, swords, machetes, cutters, razors, multi-tools etc. In short, anything that has a sharp edge, classified as a ‘knife’ catches my fancy instantly.

A Sportsman
Shooting and archery are favourites.  As a National Level Shooter I represent Delhi State in Shooting Sports; and besides being a 'Renowned Shot' (as per Govt. of India's notification) in 10m and 50m Pistol events, I am also a Medalist with a Silver Medal at State level and a Bronze at the North Zone Championships.

A Hobbyist
While things that cut, shoot or fly have always been of delight, mechanics and robotics fascinate me.  I love making small gadgets and stuff that uses recycled waste products and runs on non-conventional energy sources. Photography, fishing, adventure sports and instrumental music are the other things that hold my interest.

An Activist
A keen observer and willing participant to stand against corruption and immoral & unethical activities and practices. RTI has become an important tool and weapon to aid in this arena. As Hony. General Secretary of ISHWAR-NGO, I work to educate street children and contribute my bit in ‘giving back’ to the society – particularly the under-privileged, differently-abled and the less
fortunate sections.
